Diplomacy is a seven-player strategy game set in 1901 Europe. Each player controls one great power and competes to dominate the map. There are no dice — every unit is equal, so the only way to gain ground is to out-negotiate and outmaneuver the other players. Alliances, deals, and well-timed betrayals decide who wins.
Yes. Atlas Diplomacy is completely free to play. Create an account, join a game, and start giving orders — there is nothing to buy.
Everything runs in your browser. Each turn, you talk with the other powers and then submit secret orders. Every order resolves at once when the turn timer ends. A turn can last minutes or several days, so you can play a quick match or a slow game across a week.
No. Join the ranked queue and matchmaking fills all seven seats for you. If you would rather play with friends, create a custom game and share the join code.
It depends on the turn timer the game uses. Rapid games move quickly; standard games unfold over days as players negotiate. A game ends when one power controls eighteen supply centers, the players agree to a draw, or an end year is reached.
Control eighteen of the thirty-four supply centers to win outright. If no power reaches eighteen, the game is scored by how many supply centers each power holds — so building the strongest position still pays off.
